A Message From Your Host

The Great Lake of the Ozarks Gospel Sing is a highlight to my ministry every year.  From the beginning of our sing to today there have been many changes and some things that have not changed.  The first few years that we met at the Main Street Music Hall, our crowds were pretty sparse, and we questioned whether we would be able to continue with the event each year.  Today, we can thank the Lord that last year our Saturday matinee and evening concerts were both sold out!  That was a blessed day and evening for the ministry of our Gospel Sing.  Let me share why I think you will enjoy the Lake of the Ozarks Gospel Sing this year if it is your first visit with us or your eleventh.  First, the Lake of the Ozarks Gospel Sing is a family atmosphere that combines many gospel music fans as well as artists who come together to worship and adore our Savior Jesus Christ.  Secondly, you will not see a whole bunch of groups that will sing for 20 minutes and sit down.  We design each evening event as well as each matinee with plenty of time for the artists to minister in song and actually hear a complete set from each artist.  That is something that has not changed.  We started with that format by default due to budget limitations many years ago.  We continue that format by design, because we enjoy seeing more than a musical set from a given artist, and we see their heart!  That is what makes the Lake of the Ozarks Gospel Sing special to me.  I will be emceeing each session and look forward to meeting you and sharing my favorite weekend of the year with you this April 2 – 4, 2009.

Serving Jesus!
